The lore

The pitch is older than the panic. Royal Rife was using frequency therapy on patients in 1934 at the Scripps Ranch Clinic in San Diego — sixteen terminal cases, fourteen reported clinical recoveries, and a press write-up in the Los Angeles Times before the AMA went to work on him. The paperwork survived. The machines did not.

Then comes the secondary current. NASA quietly patented a pulsed electromagnetic stimulation device for tissue regeneration after the Mir mission's bone-density losses came in worse than the projections. The patent is real. The hardware in the consumer market is not it.
